NECF Training Centre

NECF Training Centre provides professional accredited and up to date Training in the Forestry, Wood Products, Agriculture and IT sectors, through dedicated and competent training staff which enhances the National Skills Base.

We are the only Forestry Training Centre in the North East Cape Province and can service an area of over 500km radius due to the fact that we can travel and bring training to you on your premises.

This Training Centre is accredited by FP&M SETA (Fibre Processing and Manufacturing SETA), AGRISETA, and the MiCTSETA that offers computer training and Pastel.

All training material used by the Centre conforms to the unit standards required by the respective Training Authorities and has been drafted to provide the most relevant and cost effective training exposure to course participants.  As the Training Authorities update or amend unit standards an/or training outcome requirements, our highly skilled staff incorporate the changes into the training material to keep it updated, compliant and applicable.  New training material is developed constantly to insure that we remain current.

Other Services

Since the beginning of Skills Unlimited, we have been closely involved with the SETA’s. Yearly we assist companies with their WSP and ATR submissions as well as assisting companies with their Discretionary Grant applications.  We also do a lot of consulting with regard to compliance and meterial development as well as Company accreditations.  Where we assist with SDF functions, none of our companies have ever been denied their Mandatory grants.

Community Outreach

Skills Unlimited has been involved in the training of communities that was given land as part of the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry’s(DAFF) afforestation process. Up to date, we were involved in training communities in Ugie, as well as Qumbu and Ntywinka.  In the Southern Cape we are still involved in the Rheenendal and Brackenhill communities.  We have the blue print in community assistance and development and are planning to extend this part of the company.
